The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) is the premier drug enforcement agency in Singapore. It was established in 1971 as a department under the Ministry of Home Affairs. It conducts vigorous enforcement against drug offenders to curb the supply and demand for drugs in Singapore. The CNB is also responsible for spearheading preventive drug education and promoting national consensus of zero tolerance towards drug abuse. The CNB provides training on Singapore’s approach to successful drug control.
