The Civil Defence Academy (CDA), built in 1999, is dedicated to
equip Singaporeans and Singapore Civil Defence Officers with
the knowledge, skills and values on emergency services during
peacetime and emergency. The CDA offers training courses in such
areas as fire fighting, fire safety, rescue and Hazardous Materials
(HAZMAT) mitigation; and uses a wide range of state-of-the-art
facilities and training simulators to add value to the training offered.
