National University Of Singapore (NUS) - Department of Economics

The Department of Economics was established in 1934, under the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Science in the National University of Singapore. An Economics Executive Programme (EEP) was started in 1992 aimed at professional development and self-improvement; increasing exchanges between theoreticians and practitioners, thereby generating greater interaction between what is taught in theory and what is actually practised; and, quick responses to changing global and local issues whereby answers, ideas and suggestions can directly benefit participants from both private and public organisations.
