The Public Utilities Board (PUB) is the national water agency in Singapore and a statutory board under the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources. It manages Singapore’s water supply, water catchment and sewerage in an integrated way. PUB is responsible for managing the whole water cycle, from sourcing, the drainage of stormwater to the collection, purification and supply of drinking water, to the treatment of used water, its reclamation into NEWater to water reuse. PUB has ensured a diversified and sustainable supply of water for Singapore with a four-tap strategy, namely, local catchment water, imported water, NEWater and desalinated water.
