The Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) aims to create an
environment where people can work together to find enduring
solutions to conflicts by broadening awareness of, and providing
access to, constructive means of dispute resolution. With the support
of the government of Singapore, the Judiciary, professional and trade
associations and businesses, the SMC has successfully spearheaded
the mediation movement in Singapore. SMC provides workshops in
effective dispute management, emphasising the skills necessary to
prepare and conduct negotiations and mediations, manage workplace
differences and enhance participants’ abilities as creative
problem solvers.
